Country Gospel And Me

Since I live in Iowa there isn't a lot of Country Gospel being played. Where as if you were in the southern states you would here lots of Country Gospel music as well as Southern Gospel. If I don't have it downloaded and want to listen to music I don't have on hand then I just go online and type in http://AOL Radio.com There you can find all kinds of neat stuff and you can even create your own lists of favorite kinds of music. I want you to know that I do have a couple of other types of music that I do listen to on occasion. Like I said in my last post you don't hear much of it in the churches around here and basically you can take a standard hymn and do it in a country style. I once worked at a Gospel Mission and they had chapel most every night and there was always music. Now I had the privilege of playing a few songs once a month and to tell you the truth the fellas seemed quite taken by it. I guess it kind of reminded them of the honky tonks and bars that they would frequent on at numerous times. It was just the way the music sounded that drew them to it. Although I must say that on those nights when they would give the alter call there were always a few more that would come forward then on other nights. My health thought for today is always awake with a positive thought about something. You'll feel so much better if you do. Just give it a try for awhile and see. Did you know that people who think happy thoughts are healthier? As for the world news today, it hasn't changed much since the weekend except I would say the big story is the runoff election in Afghanistan being done away with. And of course what is Obama going to do about the troops, bring them home or send more. he"s been mulling it over for quite some time now and can't come to a decision. Well guess that about wraps it up for now, I'll leave you with this video.
