Yesterday I decided that I would make another video using one of the country gospel songs I wrote. All day I struggled with getting the audio transferred from the VCR tape to my computer( I'm not the worlds smartest person) but anyway I could not remember how I had everything hooked up before. Guess I need to start writing things down. It's just a music video with me and my guitar that I would like to put on YouTube.
So that should be easy right?It didn't dawn on me until this morning that I had used a cheap karaoke machine before when I did a couple videos. Awhile back I bought an old cheap camcorder. One problem is the mike quit working on it so I have the audio run through a mixer and into the VCR recorder. I filmed a couple of clips and was using a VHS-TO- DVD converter to transfer the tape to Widows Movie Maker on the PC. Picture is fine but no audio so I switched to another program that came with this converter. The picture is fine plus was able to transfer the audio as well. Just have to tweak the audio a little. It looks like I will be working on this for the better part of the day.Hope everything turns out well cause I like bringing good ole gospel music to people.
