Yes my friends, it's that time of year again. Christmas music. I like so many of the Christmas songs that it would really be hard for me to pick one as my favorite, I do like the way some of the country music artists do them. I would really have to say one of my favorites is O' Holy Night done by Billy Gilman when he was twelve years old. He's twenty one now so that was a while back.
I haven't written anything about health as of late and for all you seniors out there, it is that time of the year when we start staying inside more. At least those of us who live in the northern states.
Usually we tend not to get as much exercise as we normally do. Now I find that I do a lot of extra eating or piecing which leads to some unwanted pounds. Try to get into an exercise routine if you can. Not only will you feel better but it will help to keep you in shape through these winter months. Of course you should not jump right into any type of exercise program with out first consulting your doctor.
Here the last couple of days I have been searching on line for the printed music for Going Home which was written By Bill and Gloria Gaither. No luck so far. Of course I'm talking about free sheet music. That's why I'm searching the Internet. Think I can learn it without the sheet music. It sounds like a three chord song, but there may be a minor chord in there also. Guess I know what I'll be doing this afternoon.
Guess that's about it for this time. If you haven't already then drag out some of those Christmas songs and play them while you do stuff around your home. It will make your day so much brighter. I'll leave you today with this video of O'Holy Night.
Take care and may God bless you always,
Mike Rupe Sr.
