My Gospel Videos

You know friends I have been struggling over the last few months trying to do some gospel videos that people will watch. To me the lyrics that are in gospel songs have a really good message. To tell you the truth, I have come to a point where I have thought about giving up. I just might go down in history as the person with the least watched videos on You Tube.
I come up with all kinds of excuses as to why that is. My guitar playing leaves a lot to be desired(which it does) I know that. I tell myself I'm getting to old.
Then I watched a sermon on the Internet this morning that gave me a whole new outlook on what I've been trying to do with the gospel videos. It was on talents and using them or lose them. While the fact may be that my talent may not be very big or fantastic I have to keep trying to get a message out through the songs I do, cause that's what I do. Good or bad! You're never too old to sing a song or to try and make videos or whatever else it is that you like to do or like to share with friends. Now my kids probably think I'm just getting old and all this will pass and then we can all get a good laugh out of it. The truth of the matter is that at times I do get a good laugh out of it while I'm putting a video together. Sometimes I will have to tape the same song three or four times before I get it right. But I have a reason for doing both the videos and this blog and that is not only my love for gospel music, but the message that it puts out there to people. Maybe ,just maybe by chance someone who is struggling with something in their life will accidentally come across one of my videos and the words that they hear in that particular song will somehow help them in someway. So I'll just keep muddling along in hopes that perhaps a good ole gospel song has made someones life a little brighter for the day.
