You know friends, one of the things that I do during the morning hours is to listen to or watch some gospel music videos. Not only does it make me fill good, but it also puts me in the right frame of mind for the day.Sometimes I will be doing my housecleaning chores and there will be a gospel song that just stops me dead in my tracks and I stop whatever I may be doing just to listen to the words.
That was kind of the case this morning. I was sitting there in my ole recliner sipping on a cup of coffee when this video came on. As I listened to the words, they really moved me and made me think. You know God has been so good to me and sometimes I forget that the things I have are all because of Him. Not only material things, but other things like my children and grandchildren also the great grand kids. I would also have to say the friends I have, my outlook on life and of course my health. These are just some of the things and I am quite sure there are many,many more.
We take them for granted, forgetting the One who made these things possible.
That's what that song did for me. It made me stop and think about God and all that He has done for me and how I should be thanking Him and not always just asking for something. I have been so fortunate. Thank you God.
